BIG Networking Series

UA HUB’s flagship networking evening for Ukrainian entrepreneurs and professionals in British Columbia, designed to help newcomers build a professional network in Canada.

The first edition, Unite and Accelerate, took place on November 4, 2023, at the Holy Eucharist Cathedral event hall in New Westminster. Six speakers discussed the differences between doing business in Ukraine and in Canada. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress was our partner.

The second edition, BIG Networking 2.0, moved to The Post at 750 in downtown Vancouver on April 5, 2024. Five industry leaders in finance, technology, marketing, construction, and retail spoke on the panel, from Pathfinder Asset Management, SoftServe, Ochi Design, 829 Development Group, and Haney Builders’ Supplies. After an open Q&A, guests met potential clients, partners, investors, and employers in person.

Each edition welcomed about 100 guests. Partners included Kalynovych Catering, Chaberton Estate Winery, and the Ukrainian Culture Society.
