Skilled Trades & Red Seal

In 2026, skilled trades certification in BC became mandatory. Newcomers already working on job sites needed to know what to do next to keep working and to advance.

We organized an evening panel around that question. Industry experts explained the new certification requirements and the path from apprentice to Red Seal, then answered questions from the audience. Promotion ran in English and Ukrainian to reach the people who needed it most.

The Post at 750, Vancouver, April 30, 2026. About 100 people attended, supported by a team of volunteers.
